What a great bit of news this is for the future of programming within our younger generation. It shows that there is still a desire to understand and experiment alive and well.

A huge well done also to the Pi team for having the belief that this appetite existed but wasn’t being serviced. I have enroled both my children onto the MOOC (Massive Online Open Course) being run by the OCR, Cambridge University and Raspberry, the course material is being finalised but I think it will be of great benefit to them.

Raspberry is a huge success but this certainly does not appear that commercials are a main driver for them. Without people like Eben Upton and his team with there dedication and their focus -yet another generation could have slipped through the net without having the chance to tap into hidden potential.

Great for Cambridge, for kids and the future.
